Pursuant in its mission to share its pedagogical expertise in English education to a wider educational community, the Jeannine Manuel Academy is enriching its programmes with TOEFL*, IELTS** and SAT preparatory classes.
TOEFL and IELTS are globally recognised English language tests, that are obligatory for admission to universities around the world. These tests assess language proficiency by evaluating reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
The SAT is an entrance exam used for college admissions by most colleges and universities in the United States. It is a multiple-choice computer-based test.
These tests have their unique formats and scoring systems, for which preparation is indispensable.

*Test of English as a Foreign Language
**IELTS: International English Language Testing System
Students must have a minimum of a B2 or C1 level in English in order to obtain satisfactory results.
Depending on the students academic schedule and needs, we offer SAT preparation over one or two years.
The Seconde program followed by the Première program is recommended for students who are sure they want to apply to highly selective U.S. schools.
Students may take just the Première Program. However, this option is prudent only for those students who have the ability to quickly read and comprehend complex texts in English.
